The 2025 Ford Expedition and Expedition MAX have been redesigned this year with a new model lineup that includes Active, Tremor, King Ranch and Platinum trim levels. The Expedition Active trim has replaced the XLT and the Timberline is now the popular Tremor trim.
Houston drivers will appreciate the 2025 Expedition revisions starting with a bolder, sleeker and more athletic exterior. Even more exciting are new interior features like a 24″ panoramic display that replaces the previous instrument cluster and the Ford Digital Experience (replaces SYNC 4) 13.2″ center-stack touchscreen.

2025 Ford Expedition Trims

2025 Expedition Active

The 2025 Ford Expedition Active replaces the XLT trim from previous years.
The 2025 Expedition Active is powered by a twin-turbocharged 3.5-liter V-6 and responsive 10-speed automatic transmission that pairs with rear or four-wheel drive. At 400 horsepower, this V6 will move travelers around the Houston highways with ease and be ready to tackle any off-road terrain it drives across.
2025 Expedition Platinum

The 2025 Expedition Platinum starts with the 3.5-liter V-6 with 400hp and the High Output 3.5-liter EcoBoost with 440hp is available as an option. Drivers will appreciate the luxurious interior known for the Platinum trim with opulent leather upholstery and massaging front seats.
Stealth Appearance and Stealth Performance packages are available on the 2025 Expedition Platinum trim as well as a Platinum Ultimate package.
2025 Expedition Tremor
Expedition Tremor Starts at: $81,030
The 2025 Ford Expedition Tremor replaces the Timberline trim from previous years. The Tremor trim is the hottest trim in other Ford models and we expect it to be a big hit with Expedition enthusiasts.
A High Output 3.5-liter EcoBoost with 440 horsepower and 510 pounds-feet of torque is standard for the all-new Expedition Tremor along with Intelligent 4WD with Terrain Management System that includes an exclusive Rock Crawl mode. Drivers also get 33″ all-terrain tires and 10.6″ of ground clearance.
2025 Expedition King Ranch

The 2025 Expedition King Ranch runs on the twin-turbocharged 3.5-liter V-6 and arrives with all the King Ranch ensignias known to the trim.
Standard for this year on the King Ranch Expedition includes: Continuously Controlled Damping (CCD), Engine Sound Enhancer with Active Noise Control, and Black Onyx-painted Power-deployable running boards.
Expedition Stealth Performance Package
The Stealth Performance package is only available on the Platinum trim and sports the powerful 3.5L EcoBoost V6 HIGH OUTPUT Engine, highly tuned to produce 440 horsepower compared to the standard engine’s 375 horsepower. The Expedition Stealth Performance Edition will push out 510 lb.-ft. of torque with a sport-tuned suspension, dual exhaust system and beautiful 22″ Premium Black-Painted Aluminum Wheels with red brake calipers.
On the outside, the Ford Expedition Stealth Edition looks racy with red brake calipers on 22″ Premium Black-Painted Aluminum Wheels. The 22″ wheels will make all the difference taking corners at high speeds and for an incredibly smooth driving experience even on the bumpiest of Houston roads. The Stealth package will also include Ebony-black power-deployable running boards for a nice step-up from the ground to seating. Additional exterior features on the Expedition Stealth package include body-color door handles, black headlamp and fog lamp bezels, LED taillamps with black bezels, and a twin-spar Ebony Black grille.
For the interior, drivers will appreciate the Expedition Stealth package attention to details with a sport center console, enhanced active noise control and engine sound enhancement, and the booming sound of a B&O Unleashed Sound System by Bang & Olufsen with 22 speakers, including subwoofer. The ebony-leather is trimmed with a unique red stitching giving the interior the racing look to keep up with the looks of the exterior.
