2022 Ford Expedition Limited
Riding in the middle of the price-pack of Expedition trim levels with a starting MSRP around $64,295, the 2022 Ford Expedition Limited offers the unique Stealth package options that aren’t available on the other trim lines. Even though it’s in the middle of the price-pack of trims, drivers will feel a sense of luxury and comfort sitting in the leather seats and staring at a dashboard of easy to use technology.
The Expedition Limited comes standard with a 3.5L EcoBoost engine with Auto Stop-Start, 10-speed Select Shift Transmission, and 20-inch Aluminum Wheels. Drivers will feel the bass with a standard 12-speaker Bang & Olufsen sound system with subwoofer while sitting in a lap of leather luxury throughout the interior. Standard technology is where the Limited stands above the other trims. Loaded with braking and driver assist technology, driver’s will feel safe and confident in all driving conditions with standard Ford Co-Pilot360 Assist+, Blind Spot Information System with Cross-Traffic Alert and Trailer Coverage, Lane Keeping System, Pre-Collision Assist with AEB, Rearview Camera and Reverse Sensing System.
Available only on the Limited trim are the Limited Stealth Performance package (304A) and a milder version Limited Stealth equipment group package (303A). The biggest differences between the two Stealth packages is the Stealth Performance has the high output 3.5L EcoBoost and costs about $5,000 more than the milder Limited Stealth which basically visually mimics the Performance Stealth version and doesn’t have the high output 3.5L EcoBoost.
Ford Expedition Stealth Edition
Ford stepped up their game by adding the Stealth Edition Package to the Expedition Limited series and it brings a host of cool appearance and speed upgrades to their full-size SUV. New for the 2022 Expedition Stealth Edition is a more sport-tuned suspension, ebony black twin-spar grille, and Ford Co-Pilot360 Assist 2.0.
The Stealth Performance package is only available on the Limited trim and sports a more powerful version of the twin-turbocharged 3.5L EcoBoost V6 Engine, highly tuned to produce 440 horsepower compared to the standard engine’s 375 horsepower. The 2022 Expedition Stealth Edition will push out 510 lb.-ft. of torque with a sport-tuned suspension, dual exhaust system and beautiful 22″ Premium Black-Painted Aluminum Wheels.
On the outside, the Ford Expedition Stealth Edition will look racy with red brake calipers on 22 inch premium black-painted aluminum wheels. The 22in wheels will make all the difference taking corners at high speeds and for an incredibly smooth driving experience even on the bumpiest of roads. The Stealth package will also include Ebony-black power-deployable running boards for a nice step-up from the ground to seating. Additional exterior features on the Expedition Stealth package include body-color door handles, black headlamp and fog lamp bezels, LED taillamps with black bezels, and a twin-spar Ebony Black grille.
For the interior, Ford drivers will appreciate the Expedition Stealth package attention to details with a sport center console, enhanced active noise control and engine sound enhancement, and the booming sound of a B&O Unleashed Sound System by Bang & Olufsen with 22 speakers, including subwoofer. The ebony-leather is trimmed with a unique red stitching giving the interior the racing look to keep up with the looks of the exterior.
The Ford Expedition Stealth Performance Edition Package will be sure to impress Ford enthusiasts looking for the coolest and fastest SUVs on the market. Once your build is submitted, a Ford product specialist will reach out to you to confirm your Expedition options before submitting the official order to Ford.
Ford BlueCruise Hands Free Driver Assist Technology
BlueCruise is a Driver Assist Technology that allows hands-free driving as long as the driver is paying full attention to the road ahead and able to take over control of the vehicle at any time. Ford BlueCruise expands on all the awesome technology Ford has previously created for a safe driving experience: Intelligent Adaptive Cruise Control with Stop-and-Go, Lane Centering, and Speed Sign Recognition.
Eligible vehicles must have Ford Co-Pilot 360 Active 2.0 and be traveling on a BlueZone highway which currently is over 130,000 miles in North America. Park Out Assist is also available on this prep kit which allows drivers to navigate out of a parking spot when other vehicles are parked too close.
2022 will be the first year Ford will offer BlueCruise on the Ford Expedition Platinum model and is shown as part of the Ford Co-Pilot 360 Active 2.0.
2022 Ford Expedition Timberline
Ford has taken the 2022 Expedition to the next level with the all-new Timberline series, a beast of an SUV for off-road capabilities yet retaining the luxury and comfort on the inside Expedition enthusiasts have come to be spoiled with over the years. Check out how Ford has taken it’s flagship SUV to the next level of outdoor adventure.
The 2022 Expedition Timberline is equipped with a modified suspension and 33-inch all-terrain tires for best in class ground clearance giving drivers the ability to climb over the steepest off-road journeys. The Timberline is protected underneath with the same heavy duty underbody skid plate used on the F-150 Raptors and Trail Turn Assist for making tight turns around anything in your path.
What’s the coolest feature of the Expedition Timberline? We think it’s the the high-output 3.5-liter EcoBoost V-6 with 440 horsepower and 510 lb-ft of torque. That’s only 10 horsepower shy of an F-150 Raptor! Or maybe it’s because the Timberline gets the Ford Expedition 10.6 inches off the ground clearance, getting the approach angle to 28.5 degrees and departure angle to 23.7 degrees. That’s what makes the Timberline the beast of SUVs!
