University of Houston Ground Breaking Ceremony November 17th, 2023
Patrick and Meredith Chastang recently joined the University of Houston’s groundbreaking ceremony for the new $130 million Memorial Hermann Football Operations Center. This cutting-edge facility aims to boost Houston’s football program and recruitment efforts amid fierce national competition. With modern amenities and expanded seating at TDECU Stadium, including suites and a club section, the center underscores the university’s commitment to athletic excellence. Scheduled for completion in 2025, it symbolizes a significant investment in both athletics and student support services, signaling a bright future for Houston’s football program and its student-athletes.
UH Golf Tournament – Men’s Basketball June 5th, 2023
At Chastang Ford, we had an incredible time sponsoring the University of Houston basketball team’s golf tournament. It was truly rewarding to support such a remarkable team that embodies the spirit of our city.
Grand Champion Turkey Auction March 12th, 2023
Generosity knows no bounds! This year, Billy Parker, Mach Industrial Group – Kathleen & Tom Mach in memory of Harry Mach, Meredith & Patrick Chastang, and Ron Logan made an impactful contribution by purchasing the Reserve Grand Champion Junior Market Turkey at the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo. Tom Mach shared his heartfelt sentiments, emphasizing the importance of supporting exhibitors. Similarly, Tyler’s turkey found support from Gregory N. Miller, Mary & Joe Chastang, Dayna & Trey Willbanks, and Jennifer & Doug Bosch, recognizing the invaluable opportunities provided by the Rodeo for exhibitors. It’s acts of kindness like these that truly make a difference in our community.
The Kinkaid School The Wonder Ball
Chastang Ford has donated a “Kinkaid Edition” 2021 Ford 4 door Bronco for this year’s Wonder Ball event. Proceeds from the event improve the quality of each student’s education. This year, the funds will support the new Center for Wellness and Student Success. The Center will support all Kinkaid students, Pre-K through 12. Additionally, proceeds will provide financial resources for the Engineering Math Science Institute (E.M.S.I.) program the School hosted every summer for under-represented youth in the Houston area since 1975!
Chastang Ford joined @FordFund and participating Ford Minority Dealers to give away face masks throughout the region! We are always proud to stand alongside our neighbors and community throughout the pandemic.

The Alzheimer’s Association provides services to the more than 380,000 Texans living with Alzheimer’s disease, and over 1,380,000 family and friends providing care in the Greater Houston Metro Area and Southeast Texas community.

Chastang Auto Group is proud to support Bo’s Place, a Houston-based non-profit bereavement center offering free grief support services for children, families and adults.
CCA Texas
The Coastal Conservation Association, which began on the Texas Gulf Coast in 1977, is a non-profit marine conservation organization with a membership comprising saltwater angler fisherman who are committed to the conservation and restoration of our coastal marine resources.
Columbia High School Athletic Department

Forgotten Dogs of the 5th Ward
Forgotten Dogs is a committed and compassionate circle of volunteers helping to care for abandoned and neglected dogs in Houston’s 5th Ward.
The Harris County Hospital District Foundation
The foundation enhances the broad healthcare mission of the Harris Health System by soliciting and raising funds for programs to positively impact the lives of those it serves.
Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo
The Chastang family has been involved in the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo for more than two decades and are active members and supporters on multiple committees.

VICTORY
VICTORY, a branch of the American Cancer Society, is a group of active, associate, and sustaining members founded in 1987 to raise funds for cancer research, education, advocacy, and patient services in the Houston area.
Our Giving Priorities
Education: We support local organizations focused on higher education, particularly in areas such as agriculture, athletics, engineering, leadership and technology. We also support local secondary education programs.
Health and Human Services: We support local organizations working to address health and human service needs such as poverty, hunger, family life and women’s and children’s issues.
Animals: We support local organizations that promote the humane treatment of animals. This includes protecting the well-being of animals predominately known as household pets, urban-suburban wildlife, captive exotic wildlife, farmed animals, and working animals.
We do not typically support:
- Organizations without 501c3 status or the equivalent charitable status
- Capital campaigns/capital expenditures and endowment campaigns
- General and/or ongoing operational support
- Individuals or individual needs
- Programs that exist or provide services that are outside a 75-mile radius of our dealership locations
