Chastang Ford is always investing not only in our future but that of all of our community.
We have launched an apprentice program that provides opportunities for young men and women who wish to join the automotive industry as a technician. Through this program, Chastang Ford sponsors Automotive Teaching programs in local high schools through the ASE-EF program and local trade schools through the Ford ASSET program. Through these programs, we can provide these students with on the job experiences and training to complement their in-class learning.
Chastang Ford recognizes that one of the expenses for a technician is their tools. As part of our apprentice program, we provide the students with a starter toolset and toolbox to help them overcome the first big hurdle in becoming a technician.
Under the leadership and guidance of a Master Certified technician mentor, these young men and women are allowed an education and lucrative career, our community’s growth.
Pictured above are Hunter and Ryan showing off their new toolboxes and tools. You might think those big ears to ear grins are because of the tools, but if you ask them, it is because of the opportunity to learn a skill in a profession, while very rewarding, is highly skilled and technical.
