The 2026 Ford Ranger returns with the same XL, XLT, Lariat and Raptor trim lineup, but Ford has introduced several equipment, appearance and package updates. The XL now comes with 17-inch black-painted steel wheels and can be equipped with the FX4 Off-Road Package for the first time. Other additions include the new Avalanche exterior color, available 18-inch chrome-like PVD wheels on the XLT and a revised Lariat grille featuring a chrome center bar with a black surround. XLT and Lariat buyers can also add new Black Appearance Graphics when selecting the Black Appearance Package.
Inside, the Lariat replaces its previous leather-trimmed seating with ActiveX-trimmed seats. An available power moonroof is expected to arrive in fall 2026 for the XLT and Lariat, with XLT models also receiving a power-sliding rear window as part of the option. Ford has also narrowed availability of the 315-horsepower 2.7L EcoBoost V6: it is no longer offered with the XLT 300A equipment group but remains available on XLT 301A 4×4 and Lariat 4×4 models. Ranger Raptor models built on or after July 6, 2026, also gain an available 17-inch black-painted aluminum wheel.
